Grimsby Water Analysis
I contacted Murphy & Son Ltd and asked if they would process a water analysis on the tap water for Grimsby. This they agreed to do for me and below are the following results and suggested treatments to make our tap water ideal for beer making.

Please find enclosed the results for the analysis of your liquor sample; therefore I suggest the following regimes for brewing bitter styles.
AMS@0.2pt/brl(112.5ml/brl), to be calculated with respect to the volume of water to be treated and added to the liquor tank.
All water used for brewing should be treated including any sparge or breakdown liquor.
DWB@4.5oz/brl(127g/brl), calculated with respect to the brew-length, to be mixed in with the grist.
This works out to be 0.69ml per Ltr for AMS and 0.77g per Ltr of DWB.
